We’re so glad you’re interested in learning more about our Greek community. Fraternities and sororities have been an integral part of Rutgers since 1845 and have enhanced the lives of tens of thousands of men and women. We are proud of our very diverse Greek community and the multitude of choices students have when seeking a Greek experience. Our community includes 70 different chapters and numbers over 3000 members.
Choosing to become Greek at Rutgers means you’ve come to understand and value the pillars we’ve built our community upon: Leadership, Scholarship, Service and Lifelong Friendship. Each of our chapters and their members are expected to embrace and demonstrate their belief in these values on a daily basis.
